A Portrait For Tomorrow is out now. I wanted to take a moment to talk a little bit about where you could purchase the book, thanks to the people who contributed to this book, and a few personal words.
First, you can buy the book in a number of places, both in print ($18 USD) and digital ($9.99 USD). As of this writing, I’m still waiting for inventory, but you can order and I will ship you a copy (and sign it!) as soon as it becomes available.
I want to thank both Blarginator Bobcat and Logan Volkmann for their contributions. They were so wonderful to work with and have made shaping this book such a positive and fulfilling process. Also my husband, my friends, and beta readers who took time to read this book and encouraged me to keep going with it.
Being that this is my debut, I’m going through a few emotions. While I’m happy to have done this thing I’ve been wanting to do all my life, I’m sad to see these characters and this book grow-up and go out into the world. In a lot of ways, I’ve discovered, it’s like having a child and at some point there’s nothing else you can do but watch it go and be a part of the world. While I know this will be a book that isn’t for everyone, I hope those who read it gleam something positive from it.
Gerry and Mikey are forever a part of me (really, they are me), and right now I have to practice what I preach: I have to keep my eyes and ears open for inspiration to strike and for new things and experiences to come my way. So, on to new and exciting things.
Stay tuned for news!
